The spiritual value of money

Recently, I "stumbled" upon a statement that leads me to write a text that I have been thinking of for a long time.
The quote reads: "Wealthy people make their money work for themselves instead of working for money."
The question now is whether money can work at all. Let's ask Charles Haanel, who says in the Masterkey System, among other things:

"Wealth is a product of work. Capital is an effect, not a cause; a servant, not a master; a means, not an end". MKS 16.1
As well as
"Wealth should therefore never be pursued as an end, but only as a means to achieve a goal. Success depends on a higher ideal than the mere accumulation of wealth, and those who seek such success must formulate an ideal that they are willing to strive for." MKS 16.5

To explain what Charles Haanel means exactly by this, I would have to mention many parts of the Masterkey system, not for nothing you should not only read it, but study and internalize it properly.
The MKS was also the basis for "The Secret", but even there only a tired copy of the essence of the power of thought was conveyed. Although I don't want to speak "The Secret" badly, after all, it has brought a lot of people to deal with the spiritual laws. Some books that have jumped on the bandwagon have simplified the subject even more, according to the motto: "Think that you are rich, order it from the universe and it will happen." And did it happen? In most cases not.

Charles Haanel repeatedly emphasizes the conscious interaction with the Universal Consciousness, with omnipotence. What does he mean by that?
When we look at nature, we always recognize the pursuit of growth in a perfect system, it does not take anything away from anyone. "Nature makes two blades of grass grow where one grew before, and the power of mind enables man to do the same." Of course, one can now object that nature does take something, for example in typical prey animals such as mice or rabbits, but here nature provides a balance, because these species reproduce very generously. Nature is a good way to see how this Universal (Divine) Consciousness works in the world.
Let's get to the point. Why was money created in the first place? People learned quite early on that it is useful to specialize in certain skills and exchange the results of your work for other results that others can do better. And to simplify this barter, money was invented.

Until money itself became a commodity and the interest system was invented. In the first step, money was lent, which must then be repaid with interest. Someone borrows 100 thalers, but has to pay back 110 thalers. However, these 10 additional thalers must first be generated. In addition, the banks not only lent what others had paid in there as a savings deposit, but also in the confidence that not all savers would like to have their money back at the same time, they lent the deposits "several times". The second step was to decouple money from real values, i.e. the abolition of the gold standard. From then on, the money only had the value that the users assigned to it, i.e. it lives only from the acceptance of those who use it. What is also worth mentioning is that the central banks that manage the money are private intuitions and thus simply economic enterprises. They "lend" money created out of nothing to the states and receive it back with interest.
As Henry Ford aptly put it: "If people understood the financial system, we would have a revolution before tomorrow morning."

If you understand all this, you can also see why there is always a demand for "economic growth". More and more must be generated to satisfy this insatiable compound interest monster. In addition, more and more wealth is accumulated by a few, which is no longer in the economic cycle. So more and more money has to be generated by the central banks, a real vicious circle.
Because at some point the markets are saturated, which means that almost all people have already acquired what they need to live and the luxury they could still afford, and thus the economy comes to a standstill. At some point, even the best advertising campaigns no longer pull, people voluntarily no longer buy. So you come up with something to force people to consume, such as a supposedly man-made climate crisis in which an innocent gas was declared the number one villain. Or you stage wars in which you not only earn from weapons, but also afterwards in the rebuilding of the destroyed infrastructure.
And here the spirits also differ between the spiritually awakened and those who want to skim off only for themselves without regard for others. And so that something is taken away from others, without consideration.
Those who awaken spiritually and are responsible generate wealth in such a way that it is done for the benefit of as many participants as possible.
Finally, a quote from Haanel:
"The knowledge that when we violate the rights of others, we become moral spikes and get tangled up at every bend in the road should be an indication that success depends on the highest moral ideal, which is 'The greatest good for the greatest number.'"
