The Emotional Scale
The emotion scale is an important measure of the level of emotional development we are currently at. Ideally, the path should always go upwards,
which then happens automatically when one consciously looks at one's own life.
Joy/knowledge/strength/freedom/love/esteem.
Here, the person has attained complete emotional freedom, he rejoices in his life, has drawn the insights from his life and draws further ones from every life event, he feels his emotional strength, a love and an appreciation for everything that is. At this stage, physical ailments are a thing of the past.
Passion
At this stage, one lives one's life with passion, all life tasks are approached with a great emotional devotion that completely grips the mind.
Enthusiasm
The life tasks still to be accomplished are accepted with an extremely increased joy, the goals to be achieved have become tangible, there is an intense interest in life.
Positive expectations/belief
A firm belief that one is on the right path is accompanied by a firm belief that everything will develop to its optimal unfoldment.
Optimism
The prevailing attitude towards life is optimism, everything is seen from the best of all sides, it is a cheerful, confident and life-affirming basic attitude,
a positive attitude of expectation towards the future characterizes this stage.
Hope
Here we have a confident inner orientation, a positive expectation that everything desirable will happen in the future, even if there is no certainty about it yet.
It is the comprehensive emotional and action orientation towards the future.
Contentment
One is inwardly balanced and does not ask for anything other than what one has. This means that one finds nothing wrong with the given circumstances and is content with them.
Boredom
The predominant feeling at this level is one of discomfort, the person sees no possibility for action and perceives his life as monotonous.
This stage is seen very negatively by many, but is a sign that one is on a good path.
Pessimism
The typical attitude at this level is that nothing one starts succeeds after all. Again, personal progress is often not seen.
Frustrations/annoyance/impatience
Frustration over lack of results in life and anger over missed opportunities are the main focus, and those affected impatiently seek the way out of these negatively perceived feelings.
Overload
Everything is too much for those affected here; they are overwhelmed by the efforts required.
Disappointment
Here, the affected persons are disappointed because they are not making progress as they had imagined.
Doubt
Doubting the whole life and creation is the characteristic of this stage, one constantly wonders about the meaning.
Worry
Worry is predominant here, the sufferer is always ruminating over all his problems. This naturally has the tendency to drag oneself down further.
Blame
Characteristic of this stage is the self-assignment of faults, which one reproaches oneself for. Here one should always keep in mind that every decision was optimal
at the time taken and could not have turned out differently.
Discouragement
At this level of the emotional scale, courage has completely disappeared, the person concerned no longer has the urge to continue because everything is pointless. Here, too, the progress one is making is often misjudged.
Anger
This is a state of strong emotional excitement with varying degrees of aggressive tendency; uncontrolled actions or words may occur.
Revenge
As in the following stage hate and rage, here intense feelings are directed against others who subjectively are to blame for one's own fate;
here the desire to get even with others is added.
Hate/rage
Intense feelings directed against others determine the level of hatred and anger, one makes others responsible for one's fate.
Envy
This level is determined by the view of others, who all subjectively have it much better.
Insecurity/guilt/worthlessness
The predominant feeling at this level is a pronounced sense of guilt, plus a feeling of one's own worthlessness, which also leads to extreme insecurity,
because one feels inferior to everyone else.
Fear/grief/depression/powerlessness
At this stage, the affected persons have reached the bottom emotionally, they are anxious, sad, depressed and feel unable to change anything in their lives.
Often, the affected persons completely neglect themselves here and are often dependent on outside help.
Of course, one should aim for the top level here, which means moving from the bottom to the top in positive and serviceable development.
In this scale we find a separation between point seven and eight. Without our own effort, we continue to develop upward from point seven; with conscious effort, of course,
this goes faster than without. Without conscious effort, we sink further and further down from point eight, it is the so-called negative spiral.
The reason for this is that from level seven onwards we have a positive basic mood that drives us further upwards. In contrast, from level eight we have a negative basic mood,
which, if we do not intervene, pulls us further and further down.
A basic goal should always be to overcome the negative spiral and turn it into an upward spiral.
Important to note here are the "strange" intermediate stages: 16th discouragement, 13th doubt, 11th overwhelm, 10th frustration.
Here you often think you are not doing something right or are not on the right path, you want to give up.
But these emotions are important steps that show that you are moving forward on your path.
