What is a Psychological Reversal?

psychology fear

The Psychiatrist Roger Callahan, one of the pioneers of energy psychology -- which includes EFT," provided the explanation and coined the term psychological reversal.
Why do people keep inhibiting themselves? Why don't some people manage to integrate positive changes into their lives permanently?
Why do addicts relapse and why do many people have big problems with self-acceptance? The psychological reversal is unconscious and this is the reason why
people often "hold on" to certain problems for a very long time despite intensive own and therapeutic efforts.

A psychological reversal is responsible for results in which a person's consciously formulated intention or desire does not lead to the goal or even clearly contradicts his actions.
Man thus sabotages - unconsciously - his own efforts. A belief that says: "I am completely free in my actions" should probably be great on the level of the mind.
Only during the muscle test it turns out that the muscle becomes weak during this sentence. and after testing the sentence: "I am not free in my actions" the muscle remains strong.
On an energetic basis, we resolve this conflict with: "Even if I am not free, I love and accept myself completely".
I have thus recognized my "problem", my subconscious mind "thinks" so ..., accept it in love =, I no longer defend myself against it,
there is no more resistance and I can solve it ........ by tapping the meridians, where I only say " unfree " to energetically change the faith in the subconscious.

After tapping, the same person who reacted to the sentence "I am free in my actions" with muscle weakness will now react with muscle strength,
because the subconscious mind is of the same opinion. This means psychological reversal in the opening movement. He makes what we do not like changeable in the subconscious.
It is reversed. We don't knock anything purely on what we don't want. We reverse it "psychologically". On the unconscious level, an opposing motivation is reversed.
That's all the opening sentence is! It becomes a belief about ourselves, our world view, our perception, to which we do not want to hold, because deeply anchored in the subconscious psychologically reversed. Even with overweight people, it can happen that they think: "I have to lose weight" and in a muscle test it comes out that this sentence weakens the muscle.
The subconscious mind then disagrees that you do not have to lose weight, and you want to reverse that. Reversal! Even though I think I have to lose weight,
I love and accept myself as I am. The individual points of the meridians: "Lose weight". ..... After this tapping, the muscle will remain strong, in the "I have to lose weight"
The unconscious belief is brought into the consciousness. We do not defend ourselves against it, do not build up resistance, because we still love and accept each other
So, this only briefly understandable for you - so I hope - explained
