This LED strip light kit features a warm white light (2700K) suitable for ambient lighting in rooms where people rest and socialise. Its yellowish hue resembles an old incandescent bulb, giving a warm and cosy vibe. The kit has a COB LED tape with 480 LED chips per metre, providing a more stable and consistent glow!
Our LED strip kit is easy to install. It includes a 5-metre LED strip light with a 3M adhesive backing and a compatible plug-in power supply. Since the kit comes with a driver, you don't need to buy it separately. Furthermore, the COB strip is 8mm thick, so if you plan to use an LED profile, the internal width of the profile should be adequate to fit the size of the LED strip.
LED lighting is a cost-effective choice, known for being long-lasting, eco-friendly, and low-maintenance. Its most notable feature is its unparalleled efficiency, which can convert most of the electricity it consumes into light. The strip in this kit is powered by that technology, so it only uses 36w of power per five metres to produce a max brightness of 3600 lumens with a wide 180-degree beam angle.
In addition, this strip light kit is IP20-rated. It's only suitable for indoor applications and should be away from water zones like the bathroom and the kitchen sink. Nevertheless, it can be used in living rooms, storage rooms, pantries, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, and wardrobes as long as it's far from liquids. For outdoor and bathroom use, look for IP65-rated fixtures.
