Background
The complement component 1q (or simply C1q) is a protein complex involved in the complement system, which is part of the innate immune system. Antibodies of the adaptive immune system can bind antigen, forming an antigen-antibody complex. When C1q binds antigen-antibody complexes, the C1 complex becomes activated. Activation of the C1 complex initiates the classical complement pathway of the complement system. By virtue of its ability to bind to IgG and IgM containing immune complexes and activating the classical pathway, C1q acts as prototypical link between innate and adaptive immune wings of the immune system. The notion of C1q involvement in the pathogenesis of cancer is still evolving. C1q appears to have a dual role in cancer: tumor promoting as well as tumor-protective, depending on the context of the disease.

Fantastic Product
Most lip balms, chapsticks, lipstick etc will make my skin peel off. I don't get moisture and I end up with chapped lips and open cuts. But since this is so natural it fixed my problem. What's nice is I don't get that gunk buildup on the side of the mouth with white stuff either. This lip balm is very smooth, very hydrating and it smells like dessert. It's gonna be my go-to forever and ever.

More cinnamon flavor than vanilla
I really wanted to like this lip balm but, as another person commented, the cinnamon flavor dominates. It does moisturize quite well if you can overlook how spicy the cinnamon tastes. Would have preferred just plain vanilla instead. Not sure I'll keep this.

hot cinnamon
Only had this one day and I do like it but would like to note the cinnamon is more like hot tamale cinnamon not cinnamon roll cinnamon. still does the job but my chapped lips give a good burn for maybe 30 sec :( going to check if they have another flavor option for next order

Best lip balm I’ve found yet
Every lip balm or chapstick I have ever used has always bothered my lips and made them peel. I’ve tried cheap chapsticks to organic chapsticks to vegan and nothing has ever worked. I figured I’d give this a try since I didn’t have much to lose and I am SO glad I did. This is the first lip balm that hasn’t made my lips peel. I LOVE THIS. And the cinnamon vanilla smells divine. This is definitely going to be my go to from now on.
